Located a few blocks away from Manhattan Beach, our newly remodeled, Californian 1950's back house is stocked with an exceptional queen-size Tuft and Needle Mattress, fresh cotton bath towels, beach towels, and organic linens. Fully equipped kitchenette for your everyday cooking needs. Small fridge, filtered water, Keurig, espresso maker, blender, 2-burner hot plate, and a toaster oven. High-speed internet, perfect for remote work or a movie from your computer. Minutes from the ocean, LAX, Sofi Stadium, Trader Joe’s, organic markets, the famous In-N-Out Burger, shopping malls, Manhattan Beach pier, and the incredible beach strand. We thoroughly deep clean and equip the Jones Surf Shack with non-toxic and eco-friendly cleaning supplies and toiletries. On your walk to the back house, you will pass along the side of our house and the side of our backyard, then enter your private and gated 1950s surf shack. We live full-time in the front house with our son and dog. We will plan to greet you at check-in at your convenience. With late-night check-ins, you will go in on your own. You may see us playing with our dog, spending time in the sun, or gardening in the backyard. We give ultimate privacy but love meeting new people and look forward to impromptu chats. Nearby drive to the beach, shops, restaurants, LAX, groceries, beautiful views, music + sports venues, and iconic locations. There are a few coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance of a few neighborhood streets, but it’s ideal to get around by car. We offer a designated parking spot in our driveway. If your car leaks oil, we ask that you please park on the street. Ideally you’re going to want a car. The South Bay and Los Angeles is a wide area. To experience everything, driving will be the best choice! The primary guest booking must be 25 years old or above. Within 48 hours of booking, we require all guests to provide a photo of their valid government-issued ID. Guests must review & sign our rental contract, which is separate from Airbnb and will be emailed. Although you will be in your own gated and private area, we may host gatherings in our main house and backyard. We occasionally rent out our backyard for small video/photo shoots.
