We're minutes from Main St, giving you easy access to dining, bars, HPU, Furniture Market (only 2 miles away!), and the highway. We're fully equipped with all the amenities of home, making us an excellent choice for business travel, visiting family, college visits, weddings, and other events that bring you to the area. Emeryview II is non-owner occupied so you’ll have true privacy during your stay. However, my husband and I live a quick 30 minutes away and are always available by phone or in person should the need arise. We love our guests and are excited to make your stay spectacular! Emeryview II is in a beautifully historic area of High Point. We’re right down the street from High Point Central High School, built in 1926 and now the oldest high school in Guilford County. We’re also across the street from stately Emerywood, full of gorgeous, classic old homes with decades-old character. Morning walks or slow afternoon drives in our neighborhood are recommended if you’re a lover of old homes like we are! OUR PET POLICY Yes, we allow pets!! A few things to be aware of: -There is a $60 pet fee. Please add the number of pets you are bringing to your reservation so that the fee can be billed at the time of booking. -This fee allows us to compensate our cleaners for the extra time spent cleaning. Since guests that stay after you may have allergies, we need to make sure the space is clear of any animal hair or dander. -No need for pre-approval for pets before booking. Just use the message box when you submit the booking request and give us a little info about the pets you will be bringing. For example, number of pets, type, and size. -Please clean up after your pet in the yard. -If your fur baby is accustomed to laying on furniture, please bring throws or towels to cover the chairs and beds. Please do not allow them to lay on upholstery or linens. CLEANING FEE To maintain high quality cleanings but also keep our fees low, your cleaning fee is based on your guest count. If your guest count changes, please let us know ASAP! Keeping our place immaculately clean is our top priority and our cleaning fee allows us to fairly compensate our team as they strive to make your stay awesome. We hire only the best cleaning staff and pay them a living wage to makes sure your sheets are crisp and clean and the place is spotless. ABOUT THE PROPERTY Our vintage home is a duplex, originally built by High Point Central High School for use as student/teacher housing. Emeryview has two units (Emeryview I and Emeryview II) which are completely separate from each other except for a shared center wall, so you’ll have true privacy. Each unit is open for short term rentals. This listing is for unit “B” (Emeryview II), which is 2 bedrooms/1 bath and is located on the right side.
