Log Cabin at Grand Lake

UNIQUE, PRIVATE, AND FUN LOG CABIN ON GRAND LAKE. NEWLY REMODELED. GREAT FOR FAMILIES OR FISHERMAN. This vacation spot is perfect for 2 couples w/kids. Deck is great space for just hanging out or would be wonderful space for a ladies crafts/scrapbook weekend! The space Cabin has large open living/kitchen area. Living area has lots of seating with a sofa, daybed and leather recliner. Home is very comfortable in hot summer months with it's new oversize central ac unit. This is most important after a hot day on the lake. The large covered deck seems to be the gathering place of choice for relaxing, and spending time together. Great place to watch for wildlife while enjoying a cup of morning coffee. DVD player, WIFI,and 52" LED Cable TV provide entertainment. Kitchen comes fully equipped for cooking along with gas grill on the deck. You are welcome to use any of the condiments in the fridge. Coffee, filters, and 12 cup coffee maker included. Folding table, Iron and hairdryer, available. Guest access You will have full access to the property. This home is quite private and sets down the street from a bluff overlooking the lake but has no lake access. Overnight dock rentals and boat launch are offered at the Marina just 2 blocks away. Public boat ramp/parking is 3 blocks away. Boats are welcome as we have plenty of parking in front of cabin. Public swimming available at Bernice State Park. Other things to note New Outdoor kitchen is completed for 2019 Summer Lake season. Will include a built-in propane grill. The valves to turn on the gas for the grill is under the outdoor sink. Turn the yellow valve selector up and down {vertical} Then turn the timer valve to 1 hr. Check for clicking sound at the grill when pressing lighter button before opening burner valves on the grill. If no clicking I sometimes have to pull a grate out and light with a long match or lighter. The two burners on the RH side of the cooktop will light manually. Sorry the sink has no water. Guests kept hooking up the hose and then letting it freeze. An outdoor mini fridge on the porch is great for drinks and bottled water.
