Wimbledon tennis 15 minutes walk. FREE PARKING during Wimbledon Tennis tournament. Tube/Metro 5 minutes walk with trains to central London. Live like a local in my Happy House, staying in a quiet, bright, light, airy comfortable bedroom with plenty of storage space. You will arrive as a guest, and you will leave with wonderful memories! Come to stay with us at Happy House! The space Your room is at the top of this renovated Edwardian house (yes, over 100 years old!! and still a Happy House) and has a comfy kingsize bed, and views over the gardens and roof skyline. It is a very quiet room and you will have a blissful sleep. There are two flights of stairs to the top floor so the room would not be suitable if you have mobility issues. You will have unlimited access to fast fibre-optic broadband, and you have a digital TV in the bedroom. To save you packing them, there is also a hair dryer and a travel plug adapter. Your room has plenty of storage and hanging space, and a lovingly restored writing desk if you need to do any work on your laptop. The bathroom is just outside your room and it is shared with only one person (me!!). If you have the time, borrow one of my favourite books, including some novels, or a London guide book. Feel free to make yourself at home in the large living room with huge flat screen TV, the great eat-in kitchen with cooking facilities, or why not have a relaxing evening sipping a glass of wine in the garden. Being a frequent traveller myself, I know that you might have laundry to wash, and you can use the washing machine, and hang your clothes to dry in the bathroom, or outside if the weather permits. During your stay I enjoy chatting to my guests (if they want to.....) and helping them get the most out of their visit to London by sharing my knowledge of this wonderful European capital city. I have lived in London for most of my adult life so can make suggestions or give ideas for a more interesting itinerary. Other things to note Please note this is a strictly non-smoking house and there are no pets. Please don't place suitcases on the carpet or on the beds, you can use the suitcase stands provided in the room. Also no outdoor shoes in the house.... leave the dirt and world negative energy outside of Happy House!!
