Relax and unwind in this romantic, tranquil couples retreat. Pheasant Lodge is one of two luxury lodges set within 13 acres of beautiful private countryside and woodland, home to an array of wildlife. It is the perfect place to escape busy lives but just over a mile from the thriving town of Wimborne and only a two minute walk to an excellent thatched pub/restaurant Pheasant lodge has a private hot tub where you can star gaze at night or watch the visiting deer, birds and wildlife in the day The space Pheasant lodge is an idyllic, peaceful, un-overlooked, romantic retreat for couples set in 13 acres of private land. The lodge is a studio style accommodation equipped with king-size bed with high thread count linen, Egyptian cotton towels, bathrobes and spa towels. There is a large walk in shower, sink, wc, electric towel warmer and toiletries. The compact kitchen has a half size dishwasher, combination oven/grill/microwave, hot plates, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. Electric heating. There is a comfortable sofa, dining table and chairs, HD TV, Bluetooth speaker light. WiFi, dressing table/desk with hairdryer. Outside, in the private garden, there is a barbecue, pizza oven, table and chairs and garden sofa and hot tub. In the spring and summer there are also two sun loungers. There are adjacent footpaths leading from the lodge to Nature reserves, and a short stroll along a track leads to The Stour Valley Way. Pheasant lodge is close to many tourist attractions and perfect for bird watching, cycling, walking or visiting the beautiful beaches of Sandbanks, the stunning Jurassic Coast and the New Forest Guest access Guests can enjoy all 13 acres of our private countryside and woodland, relax in one of the numerous seating areas or enjoy a romantic evening, watching the sunset and the stars, at one of the fire pits. Maybe try a game of croquet or relax on the tree swing. If you wish you are also welcome to pet our two tame sheep. The grounds are shared with our other holiday rental, Deer lodge, and ourselves but the private garden is just for Pheasant Lodge. Both lodges are separate from each other to respect guests’ privacy Other things to note Sorry no children or pets. We change the hot tub water for each guest so occasionally it may not be up to temperature by 4pm but will always be ready by 8pm the evening of arrival day. For full week bookings from April-October we can only accept Friday to Friday stays
