Beautiful rural retreat, outskirts of Swanage
Beautiful rural retreat, outskirts of Swanage
Description
Ideal for walkers, bird-watchers and nature lovers, this quiet bolt-hole is in the garden of one of the oldest houses in Swanage. The Purbeck stone building in the southern outskirts of the town is separate from the main house, has it's own entrance and off-road parking. A five minute walk brings you to the Durlston National Nature Reserve looking out over the Jurassic coast. Durlston Castle, the Lighthouse and the Southwest Coast Path are 15 minutes away on foot. All without crossing a road. The space A delightful place to stay with views from the windows of the garden and surrounding fields and woodland. The sitting room and well equipped galley kitchen make for an easy space to enjoy, while the bedroom upstairs is softly lit and comfortable and quiet... but for the song of theTawny Owls to lull you to sleep. Guest access Free parking within the property. Other things to note Concierge service included in booking fee. We are very happy to provide picnics, hot soup for lovely winter walks, arrange taxis, restaurant reservations, or indeed prepare light supper or lunch. We charge cost price to buy extra groceries. Pets (2 max) are welcome on request, (we have a big dog), but we must insist they stay off beds and sofas to avoid any damage.
