Old Town Petite Stone Cottage on Seaview Terrace

Are you planning a trip and traveling solo? Do you want to stay in charming Kotor Old Town and enjoy a sea view terrace? Then our place is for you! Designed for solo travelers - a tiny cottage with outside shower/toilet yet with a washing machine - gives a great opportunity to stay within the Walls of Kotor and at lower price! Kotor bars can sometimes generate a fair bit of noise but our place is located in a quiet area where the only noise you might hear comes from the Cathedral! The space In the cottage you can find a single bed, a washing/drying machine, sink, table, electric kettle, toaster, coffee machine, mini-oven, mini-fridge, mini-cooler, fan for hot and mini-heater for cold nights, as well as some kitchen utensils - basic essentials you would need for a comfortable stay in this charming city! Yes, it is tiny - 7 sq.m. (75 sq.ft) but cozy yet well-appointed. Shower and toilet are 5 steps away from the room and are located on the same terrace. Please note that our home does not have AC, only fan - so make sure it will be comfortable for you to stay without AC, otherwise please choose a different home. Our place features two-level shared terrace with magnificent views of Kotor Old Town and Kotor Bay where on sunny days you can enjoy your morning coffee or just have rooftop vistas under the vine leaves with a sea view from one side, St. Tryphon Cathedral from another and having evening-lit Kotor Fortress behind you. Please note that tall people (more than 180 cm) might encounter some difficulties in getting inside the cottage - just bend your head:) Guest access Our house is located within medieval walls of Kotor Stari Grad, in its pedestrian part. If you travel by car, there are several paid parking lots in the vicinity of the Old Town (around 5-7 minutes walk). Please check our Kotor Guidebook for locations of the most useful parking areas. The closest city gates are South (Gurdić) and Theatre (Pozorište) Gates - just 2-3 minutes walk from our place. Walkway and entry to the house are well-lit. Private entrance to the house and studio. Staircase upstairs leads to our two-level terrace with magnificent views over the Old Town and Kotor Bay. To make things easier for you, our home features self check-in but we will still meet and greet you once you are home:) Or, we can meet you and show you to our home, whatever you prefer! The cottage is located on a quiet terrace behind the main building, i.e. you will need to go through the main house corridor to access this island of serenity. Other things to note Check-in time between 3pm and 10pm, check-out is before 11am. If you need to have early check-in or late check-out, please tell us about it as we might be able to accommodate for your needs for an extra fee (although we cannot guarantee that in advance). In case of Greet & Meet after 10pm there will be an extra charge of 15€, otherwise you can use self check-in option:) From October 1 till April 30 have a breakfast option for our guests (only) in a nearby restaurant with a special rate of 6€ per person (coffee or tea + juice or milk + eggs any style or porridge or croissant) which is not included into our night rate and shall be paid directly in the restaurant. If you opt for it - please bring a breakfast card to the restaurant, you can find them in the apartment. While staying, if you need any recommendation regarding places to eat, to visit or spend your free time, we would gladly tell you. Plenty of information is already available in our Kotor Guidebook attached to the description of our home. We can also help with certain arrangements like tours and transfers. Few other things to note: 1. Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage (penalty for smoking inside 200€), yet you can have your cigarette on one of the terraces - enjoying the views as well! 2. Sewage system in Kotor Old Town is quite delicate and cannot cope with wet wipes, nappies, tampons (it might simply not digest it:). 3. Would greatly appreciate if water consumption in the shower and toilet on the terrace would be limited to essential needs only:) Tourist (sojourn) tax will be paid by private accommodation for your registration, for that you will have to provide your passport data on the check-in date.
