Enjoy the peaceful setting of this beautiful Shepherds Hut! Built locally on the West Wales coast, The Hut exudes quality and luxury, replete with all those little extra touches to make your stay relaxing and magical. Easily accessible by road (we'll even pick you up from the station if arriving by rail!), The Hut makes for an ideal spot to relax between walking stages of the Coastal Path, cycling, exploring, or for that special romantic weekend getaway, The Hut@Trefechan Wen awaits you. The space The Hut @ Trefechan Wen is a new (2022) bespoke Shepherds Hut built in West Wales and finished to the highest standards, with all modern amenities encompassing everything you need yet nothing you don't! It stands in its own private garden adjacent to a courtyard with plentiful parking and part of a small cluster of converted former farm buildings. Please see our other two listings, Trefechan Wen Cowshed and Dairy. The Hut is completely self contained with kitchenette and shower room/toilet. The ideal romantic getaway or a private space to relax between stages of walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path! A full size double bed with comfortable mattress opens to a living area and kitchenette with small sofa and two bar stools where you can enjoy breakfast while looking out at nature and the paddock beyond. Wake up to the sounds of birds singing and watch the antics of the family of jackdaws that occupy the old ruin across from the hut. At he end of the day, take in the the sight of the sun setting behind the ruin while sipping wine by fire pit. Your magical space awaits. Guest access The Hut enjoys its own private garden area which is yours exclusively to enjoy for the duration or your stay. You are also free to explore our land and take in the views of the Preseli Hills. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is an easy 20 minute walk away. Other things to note Trefechan Wen Coastal Barns comprises three converted farm buildings, two of which are self contained guest accommodation, also listed on Airbnb as The Dairy and The Cowshed. The central courtyard provides access and parking for all guests including the Shepherds Hut. There is plenty of space for all and each has its own private outdoor space. We like to make you feel welcome and as a small gesture provide a modest 'welcome hamper' for you. Just the basics (bread, milk, eggs etc) with maybe a local treat or two! Let us know if you have any special dietary needs and we will do our best to accommodate. We also maintain a small ‘larder’, stocked with canned foods, pasta, rice, cereals and other handy ingredients as well as the usual condiments, seasonings and sauces. There is a small fire pit and seating area for your exclusive use and we invite you to explore our land, wildflower meadow and spectacular Preseli views.
