Welcome home! This 1-bed/1-bath apartment occupies the bottom level of a rowhome on a quiet street just steps away from Columbia Heights' shops, restaurants, and coffee. We are an 8 min walk to two metro stops, a quick ride (or slightly longer walk) to Howard University and U Street, and a direct metro ride to DCA airport. The space We love living here and want you to feel at home, so we set up this space to feel warm and liveable. Cook a meal, watch some TV, pull a book off the shelf, or square off on Xbox. Drink your tea in the garden and say hi to neighbors walking by. Staying here, it is easy to feel like you are part of the neighborhood. Past guests have appreciated the little extra touches - borrow a tote for your run to the market, grind your own coffee, snuggle up under a down comforter. This is true DC rowhouse living, and we hope you'll enjoy being a part of it. One thing to know about this community is that we share walls and outdoor spaces with neighbors. This apartment is a cozy and tranquil space, yet you may occasionally hear sounds from outside, or from your upstairs neighbors (that's us). This is usually minimal and during regular waking hours, but it's a possibility we want you to be aware of as you're choosing your city stay. Guest access The entire apartment is available for guests' full and private use, except for a locked supply closet. The apartment has private entrances in front and rear.
