Longwood Edge, a dream home by the Sea

This stylish, spacious, ‘State of the Art’ home is perfect for those looking for a luxurious, relaxing break in a tranquil coastal location. With a large open plan living/dining area, fully equipped kitchen with breakfast island, 3 large bedrooms and 2 luxurious bathrooms. Located on a quiet road 100 yards from the award winning Bonchurch Inn, you can relax, stay at home or wander into Ventnor with its variety of restaurants. We provide discounted ferry travel on booking. The space We like to think that we have gone for the ‘Wow’ factor from the moment you get out of the car and walk through the front door but we will let you decide. From the driveway is a flight of steps up to the front decking and front door. We have an EV Charger in the Car Port if wish to use it please advise beforehand there is an additional £20 per stay per car. Entering the hallway you have the living area to your right and bedrooms 1 and 2 to your left with the family bathroom at the end of the hallway. All the bedrooms are light and bright with skylights for you to stargaze at night, comfortable beds and ample storage space. The family bathroom has a bath and walk in shower all newly installed for the season. Once in the relaxing living area with a 48” SMART TV you have the open plan kitchen and dining area with a fully working log burner for those chilly evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, hot water tap (child proof) but providing instant hot water for tea and hot drinks. Double ovens/microwave/wine fridge and all the essentials at your fingertips and comfortable seating at the island for social cooking and dining. There is also a utility room with washer/dryer. Moving to the far end of the property is the master bedroom with a dressing room, en-euite bathroom with free standing bath, walk in shower with double vanity unit. The master bedroom has stunning views out to sea with french doors which open out to the garden and deck. Wrapping around the front and east of the house is a wide decking area with space for Al Fresco dining where you will find a Weber gas BBQ and outdoor furniture. There is all day sunshine from early morning through to early evening from the southerly aspect. Kate and Mick Guest access Longwood Edge is located half way down Bonchurch Shute just off the main B3327, Leeson Road into Ventnor. We have our own private driveway with space for 2/3 cars and an electric charging point is available for your use. There are numerous options for walking as we are just 100yards from the coastal path that links us to Shanklin and Sandown to the east and Ventnor, St Lawrence and Niton to the west. If you walk up to Leeson Road there is a bus stop with bus route links around the island. During the day taxis are generally available. We provide further details in our House Guide.
