Located 1/2 mile from the Appalachian Trail, surrounded on three sides by National Forest, 780 acres of privately owned land in the foreground - this is a unique find. The space Guests have their own private Safari Tent with deck. This property is also a hostel along the AppalyTrail. Wood’s Hole is a remote location with Log Cabin with Private Rooms, log bunkhouse, Safari Tents, and Showet House. More of a communal setting than private escape. The Tent offers a Private Escape in a community settting Guest access Guests have access to National Forest as well as 100 of acres of privately owned land. Hiking, Mountain Biking, Fire Pit, Creek- and more- only begin to describe this incredible property. The property acts primarily as a Hostel for hikers along the Appalachian Trail. Hikers pass thru predominantly from April-June and September-November. Making summer season a quiet retreat for guests. Other things to note Often we invite guests and hikers to participate in a communal meal. Please inquire if interested. There is an extra cost to meals. It is a very unique and homegrown experience.
