Beautiful GEM in Washington D.C. This is a duplex home and has two separate entrances and separate private apartments. There is a tv in the living room with sling tv as well as a pull out sofa bed in the living room. There is also a queen bed in the bedroom. The unit is located in the Historic Deanwood urban community which is primarily residential. There is plenty of parking just outside of the entrance and you won’t ever compete for a parking space. There is a new restaurant nearby that’s pretty good. The nightlife and more variety of restaurants are in the H Street Corridor which is about 4 miles away (You can Uber, take a bus or trolley) If you would like to visit the monuments and museums, Capital Hill is about 5 miles away. Updates: We recently (fall 2023) had a contractor blow in sound dampening insulation in the ceilings to eliminate extra noise between the units. There has been really positive feedback from recent guests. We will always listen to your feedback and do our very best to make sure we continue to make our guests experience outstanding. We are available at anytime The unit is in a historic neighborhood in Washington D.C., the Deanwood community. This is a residential community and 10 minutes from the University of Maryland Medical Center in Largo Maryland. Also 10 minutes from downtown Washington. Guest may use public transportation which within walking distance from the home. Uber or Lyft are also easy to access. Our home has been enjoyed by many airbnb guests who have rated their experience as exceptional and safe. There are so many wonderful museums, restaurants and activities across the city through-out the year. The easiest access to our place from local airports is by uber, Lyft, metro train or bus.
