*LAST MINUTE PRICE* A great property with off-road parking for 2 vehicles, set in a convenient location for guests looking to discover Penryn, Falmouth and the surrounding areas. It lies within easy reach of beaches, harbours, coastal walks and creeks and makes the ideal base for families to enjoy a great summer holiday, or for couples looking for a relaxing break. It sleeps 6. The garden is a sun-trap and has side access enabling the storage of bikes or surf boards in the back garden. The space 3 bedrooms; one with a double bed and two with small doubles. Garden with picnic bench and chairs. There is an outside bar area too. Kitchen diner with dining table to seat 6, kitchen appliances, utensils and cutlery etc. Bed linen and towels are provided. Washing machine and dryer. Large lounge with patio doors into the garden. Parking is rare in Penryn and Falmouth. Here there is space for two vehicles and a third can be parked to block these in if needed. All bookings are Saturday to Saturday. Check-in is via a lockbox. 5 min walk to the Famous Barrel pub and a 7min walk into the centre of Penryn, one of Cornwall's most ancient towns. Boasting Pippin's pasty shop (get there early they sell out by lunch!), tasty fish and chips, and more pubs. You are 5min walk from a park with a BMX track and football area, this also leads onto a lovely walking area around the base of the viaduct and a picnic area next to the stream. 10min drive to the beautiful Swanpool beach and 15 min to Falmouth. Explore Pendennis Castle or take a ferry ride to St Mawes for ice cream and St Mawes castle. From here you can walk to St Anthony's lighthouse along the coast, famous for being the lighthouse in Fraggle Rock if you are as old as me and remember that! Please note that the furniture will be different in the lounge from that in the photos, as we have a new sofa going in. It is a lovely house. The kitchen has beautiful granite worktops and a nice slate floor, however the cabinets are a bit tired. This has been reflected in the price. Guest access There is allocated parking on the property with room for two cars. You can also park a third in front of these on the road if you need to but you are blocking yourselves in. Other things to note Also great for families but please note that it is not set up for infants. You would need to bring everything you need with you.
