The space • A stone-built Manor House adjoining a half-timbered building, steeped in as much history as the town it graces. • The next-door wooden structure is believed to have its roots tracing back to a weather-boarded Coaching Inn initially built in the 16th century. • Much effort has been made to restore and highlight the original features, such as the timbers belonging to the same era. • The stone building features a majestic red-carpeted staircase, one of a kind in the country, leading to the upper floor. • The double-height ceiling and the galleried landing, together with stone walls in part and timber beams, add to the grandiose and exclusivity of the architecture. • At the rear of the hotel, there are two timber decks. • The Knighton Hotel offers a spacious communal lounge, perfect for guests to relax and socialise. • The two-storey Knighton Hotel offers various accommodation options to accommodate different groups, including single, double, triple, and quadruple rooms. • A self-catering apartment is also available at The Knighton Hotel. Guests can enjoy the convenience of an independent apartment complete with a private kitchen, bathroom, and 2 bedrooms. • All rooms feature a private en-suite bathroom for your comfort. • Some rooms feature a Jacuzzi bathtub for your convenience. • Pets are welcome at The Knighton Hotel, so you can travel with your furry friends. Two well-behaved pets are allowed with a charge of £25 per pet per stay. Please note that dogs must be kept on leads in public areas and cleaned up after. • Some rooms offer delightful views of the surrounding woodland. • Limited On-Site Parking: Limited on-site parking is available for guests. (Only 3 spaces for the whole property; free of charge) However, a spacious public car park, where fees apply, can be found a few feet away from the hotel. • Excellent Accessibility: Guests can enjoy easy access to transportation with the train station just a 10-minute walk away and the bus station a mere 5-minute walk. * We regret to inform our valued guests that breakfast service is currently unavailable at this hotel. The restaurant and the cafe are currently closed. * The lift is currently out of service. Guests will need to use the stairs to access the upper floors.
