Beds are fitted with fluffy comforters and quilts hand made by the owner. The proximity to everything the Sawtooths have to offer is unparalleled. Fish for your breakfast or dinner right out the back door. Cook your fresh trout on the wood-fired kitchen stove or on the grill. Sip your coffee or a cold beer on the porch while you watch bald eagles and osprey catch their next meal. Keep an eye out for "our" fox, who usually wanders by around dusk. Head out for a beautiful mountain hike with several trailheads within walking distance of the cabin. You will not find a better home base for all of your summer adventures than Casino Pines! The road from the highway is less than a mile long. Although it's a gravel road, it's easily traversed and does not require high clearance or 4WD. Guests access the cabin via a smart lock with a code unique to each stay. Although we live in Boise, which is a 2.5 hour drive from the cabin, we are available by phone or text during your stay. If you have something that needs immediate attention, we can contact our cleaner and her husband who can address immediate needs. Otherwise, in most cases, we can be there within 24 hours to address urgent needs. We love hearing from our guests.
