The Lodge is a private oasis boasting two private bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, a large fenced-in back yard for your pups, and a fully screened-in front porch. Enjoy a coffee or local craft beer in the backyard of the Lodge while your pup frolics the yard or on the front porch while savoring the nature that surrounds the home. The space PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE SECTION BEFORE BOOKING: Our dog-friendly Rustic Royce Lodge, originally called Providence 111, is (1300sqft), and beautifully situated in the lush Appalachian forest. The Lodge showcases a modern kitchen with granite countertops, a complimentary coffee & tea selection, a breakfast bar, a dishwasher, a gas stove, and all the dishes and cookware to prepare a delicious meal. The dining room is in the center of the house. The cozy living room is equipped with a smart TV and gas fireplace (ventless) to snuggle up in front of during the winter months. The house also has HVAC. Unlimited WIFI and Netflix access is available for your enjoyment. A plush king bed compliments the oversized master bedroom. The secondary bedroom is furnished with a queen bed. Both bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. Enjoy yoga, meditation, bird watching, or creative writing in the sunroom off the master bedroom, or perhaps a coffee or craft beer on the screened-in front porch. The backyard is fenced-in and allows your pup to frolic freely, while the front lawn has a tranquil view of the forest and is perfect for a game of frisbee or an evening bonfire. ***Please be aware that the Royce Lodge is vintage, over 100 years old, and we have done and continue to do our best to preserve and maintain its originality, it does show some age in areas. If you book with us, expect to see some charming character and historic aging. The Lodge is also set in the woods, and while we make it a top priority to control the critters and insects (with professional pest control services), there is a chance that you may see one during your stay. Please be sure that you are comfortable with all of these things before deciding to book with us. **exterior security cameras are used on the premises. Guest access As our guests, you will have full access to the Royce Lodge house and surrounding yard and lawn spaces. There is also a private firepit in the front along the driveway. Other things to note ***$30 DOG FEE PER DOG, due before check-in. We allow up to 2 dogs and ask that all dogs be up to date on vaccines and tick and flea preventative. Dogs MUST be crated when you are not with them in the Royce Lodge. No exceptions. *Automatic $100 charge for any pet damage found after guests departure. *ABSOLUTELY NO CATS.
