Casinha da Cabra (40m2) has 1 bedroom with a double bed, a living/dining room with a kitchenette and a wood burning stove, WC and a beautiful patio. The terrace overlooks the countryside, the sea and the sky. We are quiet and value both our privacy and the privacy of our guests. We are a family of 4, 2 humans and 2 dogs. There is a common entrance through a white gate to a small garden with small fruit trees, a little veggie garden and an outdoor shower. Note: Only one pet is allowed and there is an extra fee for guests who bring their dog. Casas do Poente is in a quiet secluded part of the village, in a closed square that gives the street a sense of peace and privacy. Casinha da Cabra consists of 1 bedroom with a double bed, 1 living/dining room with an equipped kitchenette, a wood burning stove, 1 WC, a wonderful private patio - perfect for dining outside. The terrace overlooks the countryside and the sea, after the sun goes down you can contemplate the magnificent night sky. This coast is known for its incredible sky full of stars at night. Enjoy it! There is easy and free parking outside the property. Casas do Poente values a minimalistic and environmentally friendly approach when it comes to amenities: solar panels were installed to heat water and ecological materials were used for the rebuilding of the houses. Here in Casas do Poente we use 100% renewable energy. The endeavour to use 100% renewable energy for electricity and heating is motivated by climate change, pollution and other environmental issues. The house has central heating (floor heating) and a wood burning stove, with plenty of wood, which provides amazing comfort on those chilly winter days. The house also has high-speed wi-fi for digital nomads. There will be at your disposal organic liquid hand soap, organic dishwasher detergent and an organic multipurpose detergent. You will also have in-home 4 recycling bins – for plastic, glass, paper and organic. It is one of the easiest ways to combat global warming, since it avoids generating more pollution, so it’s a feel good thing to do. Let’s reduce our carbon footprint whenever we can! The house doesn't have TV or air conditioning. We are quiet and value both our privacy and the privacy of our guests. We are a family of 4 = 2 humans and 2 dogs. Just so you know - our dogs were rescued... Praia and Mela in their previous lives were abused, so they are a little insecure and may bark when they see someone new, they are beautiful and fluffy and look like cartoon characters. We have been inspired by the principles of REGENERATIVE TOURISM and we hope to learn and contribute to a more regenerative way of travelling so visitors while exploring a new place may have a more positive impact on their destination, by satisfying the primary needs of the community and the quality of life of local people... Beach clean-up - you will have at your disposal, just in case you’re inspired, a special bag to collect any garbage or little treasures you may find as you explore the beaches, it is a fun and therapeutic experience! Guest access You can get around the neighbourhood and village easily on foot, bike or by car. There are no parking issues in the area. A few minutes’ walk from Casas do Poente, there are grocery stores, a fishing shop, a newsagent, cafes, the little local market selling vegetables and a variety of fresh fish from our coast, a pharmacy and other small local shops. Casas do Poente is easily accessible via the national road N120. It is a 1-hour and 20 minutes drive from Faro International Airport and a 2-hour and 45-minute drive from Lisbon International Airport.
