EverBe Cottage is our completely renovated, 1000sf, 1-bedroom/1-bathroom guest house that sits right across the driveway from our family home. The two-story cottage has 2 beds, sleeps 4, is private and secure, and offers access to our land, pond, pool, washer/dryer, ice-maker, and fire pit. Downstairs: full kitchen, dining area with seating for four, living area with sleeper sofa/double fold-out futon, 32" smart TV, and electric fireplace. Upstairs: large open bedroom with queen bed, oversized chair, bathroom with full-size shower/tub combo. Central A/C, Heat, & Wifi throughout. There is a pack n' play and single bed inflatable mattress available by request. While staying at EverBe Cottage, guests are able to access our laundry room which is just inside our carport. Guests may freely use our washer and dryer as well as the ice-maker beside the washer. They also have access to camp chairs, roasting forks, sports equipment (soccer balls, frisbee, football, lawn games), and a large cooler that can be used for day trips and outings (please clean & return when finished). Our house is located right across the driveway from the cottage, so we can respond quickly to any needs you may have. The cottage is self-contained, private, has its own parking, exterior lighting, and locks with deadbolts. You'll have the place all to yourselves while there! If you are especially interested in meeting and interacting with us, just let us know - we would love to meet you! At the same time, we want guests to have as much privacy as you’d like and we aren’t offended if you just want to keep to yourself. The area where EverBe Cottage is located is quiet, peaceful, and feels like being out in the country while still being close to the city. Major shopping, grocery, restaurants, and highways are all 5-7 minutes away. Our neighbors are caring and kind and look out for one another's safety and security. EverBe Cottage is located just on the north end of Columbus/Muscogee County in a small, quiet community called Fortson. We are about 7 minutes from major shopping at Bradley Park (south) and Columbus Park Crossing (east), and only 5 minutes from I-185. Ft. Moore, Downtown, White Water, Columbus State University, and more are all within 15-20 minutes south of our house. Callaway Gardens/Pine Mountain is about 30 minutes to the north. Auburn/Opelika is about 40 minutes to the west.
