MAHAKARUNA Chalets. Our Chalets are located in Chapada dos Veadeiros, between the cities of Teresina de Goiás and Cavalcante, right in the middle of the cerrado. We are in the countryside, surrounded by native vegetation. With rustic architecture, it provides comfort in a charming setting. We have a vegetable garden and an orchard that are always available to guests. The space - The water supply for our chalets comes from a water mine at the top of the mountain, so it flows by gravity, which is why you'll notice low pressure coming out of the taps. - All our premises have screens to prevent insects from entering, except the main door. - Our septic tanks are made of ecological tires; do not dispose of paper or other such materials in the toilet. - We ask that guests consult before hosting what is in our garden and orchard, how each season affects the plantation and we avoid the use of pesticides in our beds as much as possible, we do not always have a wide variety of vegetables or fruits depending on the season. Other things to note - During the rainy season (October to March), power outages occur more frequently, both in rural areas and in cities. We offer emergency lights! - We are right in the middle of the cerrado, in the countryside of the state. Only Vivo's telephone network is offered here, and not all telephone devices pick up a signal at the inn, so each chalet has its own internet network. - Throughout the state, the voltage of the outlets is 220V. - In this region of the country, it is very common for atmospheric humidity to be very low and the air temperature to be quite high, so anticipate the forecast. - This region is an endemic region of the Yellow Fever virus, have your vaccine card up to date, or schedule at least 10 days in advance of your trip to get vaccinated. - It is very common for water spouts to occur in our region.
