Welcome to our historic home in the heart of Oakwood, North Leeds. Located on the main parade of shops, restaurants & bars, just a couple of minutes walk to Roundhay Park & less than 10 minutes drive to the city centre. A unique townhouse maisonette with 2 massive bedrooms, private parking & entrance. Highlights: modern kitchen; lounge with log-burner; massive bath; big bedrooms; fast WiFi. The space You enter the property round the back, down a steep set of outside stairs, and into a ground floor "boot room" with shoe & coat storage. On the first floor, enjoy our modern eat-in kitchen, with boiling water tap; induction hob; double oven; and dishwasher. There is a dining table, and we include the essentials like tea, coffee, milk, oil for cooking, salt & pepper etc. Our stylish lounge has a cosy log-burner & big comfy sofa to hang out on whilst watching TV. We have plenty of books you are welcome to read as well. The quirky bathroom has a massive bath; rainfall shower; & double sinks. We provide towels for all guests. Upstairs, have a cosy nights sleep in one of our 2 characterful bedrooms with huge, super king size mattress in the main room and king size in the second bedroom (an additional single mattress can be added if required for 5 guests). With soft linens & room-darkening curtains & shades. Extra blankets & a hot water bottle can be provided, and there is a hair dryer for guests to use. Guest access Our townhouse maisonette is situated above a shop, benefitting from its own private entrance, parking space & little outdoor decking, all round the back of the main parade of shops. There is a set of steep outdoor steps to access the property, with a handrail & motion sensor lights for night-time. The entire property will be yours to enjoy, with the exclusion of a couple of locked storage closets. Other things to note Our WIFI is super fast - fibre optic over 150mbs, with an extender to boost the signal upstairs, meaning you can work from the property. Dogs are welcome. There is access to a woods for walks less than 10 metres from the property, or Roundhay Park just over the road. Please add your dog at the time of booking. In order to be respectful of our neighbours, we have a strict no parties policy. Thank you for understanding.
