Welcome to La Ponderosa, our little ranchette located in the heart of the hill country. This is where you come to relax and get away from the city lights. You can enjoy nights of star gazing along with spectacular sunrises and sunsets while listening to the peaceful sounds of nature surrounded by the large Live Oaks. Only a few minutes away from downtown Lampasas where you can find antiques, groceries and many home cooked meals. Less than four miles away from two award winning Texas wineries. This cabin has a queen bed and two twin beds in a rustic little cabin. The immediate space around the cabin is yours to enjoy. The fire pit is shared with the other cabin and a great place to make new friends. Your stay is generally contactless. If there is something you need or requires immediate attention please message use in the app. We are about 30 minutes from 3 state parks Colorado Bend State Park, Inks Lake State Park, and Longhorn Cavern State Park. Spider Mountain Bike Park is also about 30 minutes away. We have Texas Legato Winery and Pillar Bluff Winery that are less than 5 miles away.
