Charming Country Lodge in Skerries

Southfield Lodge is located in Skerries, a beautiful, peaceful rural seaside area, with numerous local amenities and attractions. It is close to many local beaches, country houses, castles and gardens. The picturesque village of Skerries is a 5 minute drive away or 10 minute cycle and has a variety of restaurants, cafes and pubs. Dublin city centre is approximately 30 minutes drive and the Lodge is only 20 minutes from Dublin airport. Skerries has a train station with regular trains into Dublin. The space This 19th century Lodge is situated on Milverton Demesne and is surrounded by fantastic views and local wildlife. It is close to Skerries village with easy access to Dublin airport. It is comfortable and peaceful. It has recently been renovated with new kitchen and bathroom areas. All rooms have been freshly painted and are clean and bright. There is a log fire in the sitting room which makes it warm and cosy. This unique setting offers a great introduction to rural Ireland. There are 2 double rooms with a double bed in each. You can book: 1 room for 1 guest 1 room for 2 guests 2 rooms for 2 guests 2 rooms for 3 guests or 2 rooms for 4 guests Any queries please get in touch Thank you Guest access Guests have free access to the kitchen, bathroom, sitting room, patio and outside garden areas. I am very happy to interact with guests and give tips and/or discuss the local area etc but I am equally aware of the need to respect guest's privacy. During your stay A friendly and flexible host, who is knowledgeable about the local area and things to do. I'm very happy to interact with guests when I'm around, while being fully aware of the need to respect and provide privacy. Other things to note There are 2 bedrooms in the property. I frequently occupy one of these rooms. However, if 2 separate rooms are required for any reason the second room can be booked. This means that 2 guests can either share a double room or alternatively book 2 separate rooms. If possible when booking 2 rooms please allow a few days notice to get the room ready for your arrival. The lodge is very suitable to book for special occasions such as birthday and anniversary celebrations or concerts etc.
