On the Beach in 10

This relaxing and tranquil gem is conveniently located under an hour from London by train and minutes from the beach. It is suitable whether you drive or not. It’s just a 10 minute walk from the 2 Folkestone train stations. You won’t need a car, as while it is quiet, the location is central enough to walk to all Folkestone has to offer. Whether it’s the draw of the sea or the abundance of independent eateries, you’re within a few minutes walk. The space Oh I do like to be beside the sea side! Well you’ve made it. Now you can relax. There’s something special about the sea air. Legend has it that the sleep is better... This beautifully styled apartment is just a brisk 10 minute walk to the sea, where you can dip your toes in the channel, on a clear day, looking at France. It is conveniently located just over a 10 minute walk from both Folkestone Central and Folkestone West Train Stations. There is also plenty of on street parking. (A single permit can be provided upon request). This peaceful gem is on a quiet residential street in the West End of town, often referred to as ‘the posh end’. It’s surrounded by the stunning architecture associated with Folkestones grand history. It is the perfect location to see all that the town has to offer on foot. The living areas are west facing, so they have the sun all day long. The living room light is amazing and it catches the most stunning sunsets with a ‘big sky view’ that city dwellers will appreciate. You’re also not overlooked. There’s a large sofa to spread out on, as well an an oversized armchair to curl up in. There is a dining area that can serve as a ‘work from home’ space, overlooking that big sky and adjoining gardens. The kitchen is separate and well appointed with all that you will need for your stay. There is tea and coffee for your arrival. The bathroom is fresh with a bath and monsoon shower. There is Faith in Nature hand soap and body wash. The bedroom has ample storage, a wardrobe, draws and a full length mirror. The king size bed is extremely comfortable. There is a full blackout blind, not that you’ll need help sleeping with the sea air. Guest access Public transport is a short walk from the flat. Buses take you to Canterbury, Hythe, Rye and even Hastings. The train station is a 10 minute walk away. London is less than a hour away with a very regular service. You can also hop on a train to Margate, Deal or Ramsgate. Ashford international is a 10-15 minute train ride. There is plenty of on street parking. (A permit is required and we will happily provide a single one on request, for your whole stay. Please don’t use the small car park at the back of the building, we don’t own that space. Other things to note We will provide one car parking permit per booking. If you require an additional parking permit please let me know. There is a cost of £4 per day per additional car which the council charge us. This is done via phone and no ‘hard copy’ is required for you to have.
