Family home w/ sea views and superb beach access!

Our light, airy, and spacious family home located in Downderry right on the slipway, is just fifty meters from a year round dog friendly beach and easy sandy access into the sea with tide pools and child friendly swimming. We're sure you'll love admiring our home's panoramic sea views as much as we do. We include the use of our bikes, kayaks, stand up paddle board, and surf board with your stay so you'll have everything you need for adventuring in our beautiful corner of Cornwall! The space Upstairs Mara Brae is an 'upside down' house with large windows and skylights throughout and a generous vaulted ceiling living room with nordic wood burning stove and baby grand piano, attached to an open plan kitchen and dining area with glass sliding doors leading onto a wrap around deck and expansive sea views throughout on the top floor. Tucked away off the dining room and kitchen is a sizeable children's snug/additional adult bedroom which can be made up as a king or single bed, as well as a w/c with bidet off the entrance hall. The kitchen is fully stocked with a dishwasher, American fridge/freezer, induction cooker, and all the cooking supplies you should need! Downstairs The ground floor is made up of 4 generous sized bedrooms (one of which can be an office or a bedroom depending on your preference), a guest bedroom with King Size bed is adjacent to a large family bathroom with shower and large bath, and the Master bedroom also has a king size four poster bed with a spa like ensuite bathroom with shower. The final bedroom is our daughter's bedroom with plenty of toys for a 5 year old and a bunk bed with a double bed below. The double bed can take two adults but the bunk bed itself is meant only for children! There is a good size utility room with a washer and dryer. Outside space Outside is a fully enclosed very small grass garden with outdoor seating, as well as a hot tub for your use. There is also an outdoor shower located on the deck in front of the master bedroom. Guest access Parking for three cars is available on the gravel drive on the beach side of the house. It is fine to use Lower Road (at the front door) for unloading purposes. Other things to note Mara Brae is our family home (not a commercial AirBnB or second home) so there might be some personal items about! We also intend to leave food in the pantry and booze about; please don't eat us out of house and home but you're welcome to help yourself to what you need! We only rent our home out when we are away on holiday and we are more than happy to share our things with you. Please feel free to use our bikes, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and our surf board as well as beach chairs and beach toys. Please know by doing so you do so at your own risk.
