The Creek Cabin at Sky Hollow

Cozy cabin located in the woods by a creek on a quiet hilltop farm. Ideal for a relaxing retreat or a couples getaway. Sauna, swimming pond, stunning views, and miles of trails within short walking distance. Fully equipped kitchen, Wifi, and linens provided. Private outdoor shower and outhouse. Dogs welcome with pre-approval (sorry, no cats), and $50 pet fee. The space The creek cabin is rustic, cozy, and comfortably furnished featuring a recliner, loveseat, and full size memory foam bed. A small dining table accents the fully equipped kitchen along with a refrigerator and a working antique gas stove. The cabin is tucked into the woods between a creek and a road with very minimal traffic. Bathroom amenities consist of an outhouse and outdoor shower. Delicious drinkable water runs to the cabin from our artesian well, as well as electricity. Relax on the outdoor back deck (furnished with a small table and chairs), or go for a hike, swim, or sauna with a short walk up the road. There are no laundry facilities on site but the Town of Rochester has a small laundromat. The cabin is kept clean and neat; mindful maintenance of the space, composting and recycling is expected. Trash and recycling is picked up by your hosts whenever requested. A dog is welcome with pre-approval. They should either be leashed or under voice command. A pet fee of $50 per pet for any length of stay is requested. The cabin is set up for a maximum of 2 guests. Not quite what you're looking for? Guest access Guests have access to the entire creek cabin area, the swimming pond, and sauna. Maps of the walking trails around the property and neighborhood are provided. Other things to note The owner has a golden retriever (Kodak) - he is friendly and (usually!) well-behaved, but does bark and run to greet you, so please drive slowly and don't be alarmed! We also have 1 cat, free range chickens, and several friendly horses who graze in view of the cabin. Please be aware of electrified fencing (especially with small children!). Maple syrup and eggs offered for sale when available. Please consider that you may or may not have cell service during your stay - AT&T has good coverage, but Verizon is spotty...there is a nice rock on the mountain top where it works well! Check coverage maps for other carriers.
