The Little House on Rocky Hill

Welcome to The Little House on Rocky Hill, our own little fairytale in Oregon wine country. Tucked along a gravel road among horse pastures and old walnut trees, she’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down, take a deep breath and enjoy the quiet. Spend the day exploring local wineries and farm stands, then come home to garden swings, records, games, a glowing fireplace and stargazing under peaceful country skies. The space The Little House is a single-level country home with two bedrooms, one bathroom and space for up to four guests. Both bedrooms include comfortable bedding, bedside lamps, attached charging cables, noise machines, full-length mirrors and clothing storage. The living room includes a 75-inch smart TV, Bluetooth record player, vintage games and a writing desk. A sensory comfort area offers earplugs, fidget items, a weighted blanket, outdoor blankets and a microwavable weighted stuffie. The fully stocked kitchen includes cookware, dishes, wine glasses, coffee, tea and basic pantry staples. The dining table seats four, and the laundry area includes fragrance-free detergent and supplies for ironing or steaming clothes. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, heated floors and fragrance-free bath products. Outside, enjoy a gas grill and patio seating for four beneath café lights, garden swings, a tire swing and peaceful views toward the horse pastures. Guests are welcome to pick ripe tomatoes or seasonal herbs when the garden is producing. The house also includes Starlink Wi-Fi, central heating and air conditioning, and an automatic whole-house generator in case of a power outage. Guest access The kitchen door is the main guest entrance and has a keypad lock with a PIN unique to your stay. The garage, riding arena and pastures are private and are not included in the rental. Neighboring properties are also private. Please enjoy the horses from a respectful distance, and do not enter pastures or open gates. Other things to note A few things to know before booking: • The Little House is in the country. The final approach includes winding, unlit roads and a short stretch of gravel. We recommend saving the arrival directions and, when possible, arriving before dark if you’re unfamiliar with the area. • Cell service can be unreliable. The house has Starlink Wi-Fi, and we recommend enabling Wi-Fi calling after you connect. • The main guest entrance has three exterior steps without a handrail. Once inside, the house is on one level. • The house uses a septic system. Only toilet paper may be flushed, including products labeled “flushable.” • Maximum overnight occupancy is four guests. The living-room sofa is not a sleeping space, and additional sleeping arrangements are not permitted. • Pets are not permitted in the house or anywhere on the property. • This is a country property, so insects, wasps and occasional wildlife are part of the environment. Please avoid leaving food outside.
