Vintage 1960’s A-frame cabin with cool retro vibe. This is a perfect spot to enjoy a romantic weekend or a peaceful trip with your closest of friends. This property is located in a private, gated subdivision with only five other cabins. Enjoy the peace and quiet, privacy and seclusion. Please note this Airbnb is ADULTS ONLY and absolutely NO PETS or ANIMALS of any kinds are allowed on property. Come up and enjoy the enchanting Jemez Mountains. Guest access You’ll have access to the entire cabin, the two outside decks and large yard with fire pit. Other things to note This property is approximately 1.5 hours from Albuquerque and 1 hour from Santa Fe. Our goal is to provide adults a unique experience in a clean and well-kept cozy space. The cabin is full of cool vintage housewares and glassware. We have spent many years collecting these unique items and ask that you take care of them so they can be enjoyed by all future guests. We always stock the cabin with lots of snacks and food in fridge. We want to make it easy and convenient for our guests to jump in the car and make a quick getaway from the city and not have to worry about packing lots of food and snacks. Essentials like coffee, butter, milk and almond milk will most likely be available. We also keep frozen food like pizzas and other snacks like popcorn, trail mix cereal and spaghetti for your convenience. You are welcome to eat or drink what you like during your stay but we ask that you please do not take any food or alcohol with you when you check out. It’s important to plan ahead and bring groceries if you plan on cooking something specific or drinking a lot because the nearest store is 40 minutes away in Los Alamos. The closest small convenience store and liquor store is 8 miles away in La Cueva. PLEASE NOTE: The interior stairs are very steep and could be challenging to someone with mobility issues. There is an outside staircase if you walk around the back of the cabin. The mountainous area can receive heavy snow in the winter months unexpectedly. Four-wheel-drive is recommended Dec-May however four-wheel-drive is not needed in summer months to get to the property. Cabin is located at 8000 ft elevation people with breathing issues take note. Due to a severe allergy in our family we cannot let animals of any kind into the space including ESA. Guests who bring animals will be asked to leave immediately. Cabin is located only five minutes drive to the Las Conchas trail, the most stunningly beautiful hike in all of the Jemez! The cabin is also very close to Valle Caldera and the popular Jemez Falls. Cabin does have poor Wi-Fi and there are no TVs.
