Built in 1752, in the reign of George II, Apple tree cottage has all the charm and character of a period property, while providing a comfortable and convenient base to stay. Sleeps up to 6 people, with wood burner in living room, well appointed kitchen/diner, patio and BBQ area shared with our garden annex and private off road parking. Within easy reach of Lacock, Bath, Castle Combe, Avebury, the Cotswolds and lots more day trip destinations. Walking distance to train Station and centre. The space Apple Tree Cottage is a listed 17th century cottage with a more recent extension to the rear. The master (king) and second (bunks) bedrooms are on the 1st floor with the 3rd bedroom (double) downstairs adjacent to the living room. There is a bathroom on the 1st floor and a toilet on the ground floor. There is central heating but the living room also has a wood burning stove (wood can be supplied for an additional charge). The kitchen diner has seating for 6 and is equipped with a gas cooker, washing machine, fridge freezer, crockery, cutlery, cooking equipment, a dolce gusto coffee machine, kettle, toaster, iron and airer. Guest access There are two parking spaces on the drive to the rear of the property. Entry is through the gate to the left of the building. Lidl across the road has an electric vehicle charging point.
