Hawks Nest Cabin is perfect for family getaways or a quiet place of solitude, located in a gated community in Lake Lure, NC. Enjoy our cozy well-equipped cabin with lots of privacy. Within the community, you'll have access to 2 beautiful lakes and the broad river, both with beach access for swimming and paddling. You'll instantly feel at home with cozy blankets, comfortable beds, and quality linens. The deck is an excellent place to sip coffee to start your day or grill and chill. The space Hawks Nest was used as a family vacation home so it feels just like a home away from home. The back deck provides amazing views of the mountains and fall colors while grilling or chilling with comfortable rocking chairs and a huge patio table. Both front porches are comfortable spots for taking in the sights and sounds of nature. Very kid-friendly home with board games, puzzles, cornhole, and firestick TV's with all the apps. High-speed fiber internet is also provided for remote workers creating additional flexibility. 2 person kayak is also available to bring down to the lake. Guest access The entire home is available to guests. Other things to note Things to do: Lake Lure Beach and Marina are not too far away if you plan on venturing out to enjoy a weekend by the lake. If you would rather spend the day hiking along the scenic trails, Chimney Rock State Park is less than 30 minutes from the cabin. Golfers can enjoy three beautiful courses less than 20 minutes from the cabin. Additional attractions nearby include zip line tours, horseback riding, ATV tours, trout fishing tours, mini golf, jeep rentals, and more. Food: Several local restaurants within 10- 20 minutes including The Lake House, The Highlands, Legends on the Lake, Victory Kitchen, and many more. Ingles grocery store is also conveniently located 15 minutes away. Additional dining options are available in Chimney Rock along with Burnshirt Vinyard and Hickory Nut Gap Brewery (our favorite) which is right on the Broad River.
