A blissfully rural boutique B&B with beautiful rooms, fabulous grounds and fantastic food. The space The Chestnuts Country House Boutique B&B is a former Duke of Portland Estate Farm situated in the small vale of Belvoir Hamlet of Alverton. The rooms are situated in the converted Coach house and stable block. Each room features a Kingsize Four poster bed, Premium English made pillow top mattress, Ensuite Shower and toilet, Two sofas, a Dressing table / desk, 50" smart TV, free Wifi, Fridge, Tea and Coffee making facilities, A vaulted ceiling with original oak beams and patio doors which open onto three acres of gardens. Breakfast is served either on the walled garden terrace with views across to Belvoir Castle when weather permits, or in the main house around our large Gothic dining table. the breakfast menu features home grown, home made and locally sourced produce. View our website for additional information. Guest access All the rooms have direct access from outside without the need for entering any shared spaces. The carpark is situated close to the rooms and features lighting and three trickle charging points for electric vehicles. There are shallow steps outside all rooms and also the main house. Other things to note DURING YOUR STAY Our aim is to offer all our guests a relaxing and tranquil stay and we kindly ask guests to respect the quiet enjoyment and relaxation of other guests. Housekeeping: We carry out our housekeeping and room cleaning between 10.30am to 1pm each day and will require access to your room during this time. Accidents happen: Please let us know immediately of any damage or spillage so that we can attempt a speedy repair or clean. Spillages are more easily rectified the sooner they are dealt with. Any significant breakage, damage or staining may result in a charge for replacement, repair or specialist cleaning. If the damage means the room cannot be made available in good time for the next arriving guests, you may also be liable for our loss of income. Missing / Lost items: Any item taken from the rooms without our consent will be charged for. Lost keys, keys not returned, or lost or damaged gate fobs will incur a replacement charge of £10
