On the Hillside overlooking the Ocean. Boat access only. Join us on a 5 minute boat cruise and leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind you. Personal dock with moorage The space Upon arrival at your private dock, you will find a cozy one bedroom cabin with a Full Queen bed. The cabin is nestled into the rocks with a panoramic view of the ocean. Taking the stairs up the hillside you begin to see the beautiful log work that make up most of this stunning retreat. At the top it opens up to a large outdoor covered living space, a lounge area with propane fire pit, dining area, and out door kitchen containing BBQ, mini fridge, sink, cook top, microwave, and toaster. All open concept with the forest behind you and full frontal views of the ocean. Last but not least the main luxurious Tent. With a personal patio and separate lounge area, this tent provides the perfect unique and relaxing second bedroom. The tent includes a Queen bed, cozy work/eating area, 2 comfortable couches, tv, full bathroom, outdoor shower, Washer and Dryer. Fire pit area included just above the outdoor kitchen as well as propane fire pit in lounging area. 4 kayak rentals and 2 oversized paddle board rentals available Fun games to enjoy during your stay! Darts, Ladder ball and corn hole! Wood burning stove with plenty of wood to keep you comfortable. Guest access Booking a reservation on the ferry from Vancouver is essential as it is super busy in the summer! But no need to worry if you don’t get one, there is always room for last minutes. The boat ride to and from 2 Tide on the hillside is included. Pick up location is at the Government dock in Egmont and duration is 5-10 minutes. Pick up is at 3pm, if a later check in is required please let us know so we can accommodate you. Departures will be at 11am Water taxis are available at an additional cost. Boat passenger waiver, Liability and Assumption of risk form to be signed at pick up prior to arrival. Special requests are available if guests are looking to explore during their stay. Other things to note Here at 2 Tide on the Hillside there is plenty to do. Your welcome to explore the old Egmont in all of its glory by walking the many backroads it has to offer. If your looking more to just hang out, you can take a swim, have a bon fire or bask in the sunshine. And if your looking to explore the ocean on a hole other level. We got you! We run a full Fishing charter and Tour business! 2 Tide Tours will take you anywhere you want to go. Waterfalls, ocean life, beautiful mountain views, the world renown Skookumchuck Rapids, we can do it all. If fishing is your thing, Perfect! We can Troll or mooch for Salmon or even try for a delicious Lingcod. It’s all up to you! We are here to make your stay a memorable one! Locally, and just across the water you can find Fine dining at the West Coast Wilderness Lodge, and Pub food at The Backeddy pub.
