Gather your family, group, or team at the 2,400 sq. ft. Hickory Tree House halfway between Palmer and Wasilla. With 2 living areas, 2 decks, and 2 sets of bedrooms & baths, the layout is perfect for 2 families or groups seeking their own spaces. The little ones will love Kid's Corner with its games, books & more. Enjoy quiet and privacy on the 4 acres of treed, scenic beauty, within close proximity to many attractions and recreational spots. As you follow the illuminated pathway to the guest entrance, you'll be greeted by French doors with a keyless entry system that leads to the open-concept great room. The room boasts cathedral ceilings, an abundance of windows that offer scenic views and natural light, and plush seating for ultimate relaxation. Get cozy by the gas fireplace or enjoy your favorite shows on the 55" streaming TV using your own login credentials. You can also watch a movie from the DVD collection or read a book from the library located in the kitchen island. The fully equipped kitchen with newer appliances provides ample space for meal prep, with a large island, plentiful counter space, double sinks, and a chef-preferred gas range. Additionally, you'll find small appliances like a toaster, coffeemaker, slow cooker, rice cooker, and blender, as well as a convenient coffee station with Keurig and complimentary K-cups. The dining table seats 8 guests (plus included TV trays) and offers spectacular views. Outside, there are two decks where you can enjoy the scenic beauty while unwinding. The property has four acres of treed land, plus nearby hiking trails and recreational activities provide ample entertainment. You'll sleep comfortably in any of the six available beds, with two bedrooms on each level plus a queen sofa-bed in the lower-level living area. The upper level offers a king bed with access to the upper deck and a second bedroom with two twin beds. The bathroom with double vanities and a large shower is shared between the two bedrooms. The lower level has two more bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds, a bathroom with dual sinks, a jetted tub, and a walk-in shower. The lower level also has a living area with a smart TV, a pull-out queen sleeper sofa, and a workspace for remote work. The kid's corner is perfect for children, with beanbag chairs, toys, puzzles, and games to keep them entertained.  You are welcome to use the entire house, including both the upper and lower decks, as well as the yard. Please note that the garage, shed, utility room, and storage closet are locked to guests. We prioritize your privacy and comfort and aim to facilitate a hassle-free and pleasurable stay. Should you have any inquiries or issues during your visit, please do not hesitate to contact us. If you are traveling from out of state, we suggest renting a car as public transportation is limited. While a 4-wheel drive vehicle is not essential during the warmer months, it is preferable during the winter months.. The gravel driveway has sufficient space for parking up to 4 vehicles. On-street parking is not permitted. We welcome longer stays, travel nurses, military families relocating, digital nomads, and families needing temporary housing due to insurance claims. Please don't hesitate to contact us with questions or for further information. We love pets and welcome one well-behaved and non-aggressive family dog. We kindly request that pets are not allowed on the furniture or the carpet or left unattended in the home. Pets must be on a leash when outdoors, and pet owners are responsible for any damages and cleaning up after their pets. Please keep the lower-level door closed as pets are not allowed on the carpet. If you have a second dog, please contact us for authorization prior to booking. Our home is kid-friendly, and we have provided a Kid's Corner in the lower level with toys, games, and books for kids to enjoy. However, please note that the home is not completely child-proof, as there is a staircase leading to the lower level, a fireplace in the main living area, and several closet doors that have mirrored glass. Please use discretion to determine if our home is appropriate for your family. For your peace of mind, we recommend purchasing travel insurance from a reliable carrier for your trip. As per Airbnb regulations, we do not permit parties or events on the property.
