The perfect getaway in the Hudson Valley – on the edge of the Berkshires. Enter through the main lower level entrance to large mudroom/coatroom. This will be private for your use during your stay. Make a right turn to your private keyed suite. The space is open floor plan with the bedroom and sitting area, an efficiency kitchenette in a separate nook, and a large private bathroom. Open the large sliding glass door to your own patio area, steps away from the fire-pit and hiking trails to the rest of the property. The efficiency kitchenette features a good size fridge/freezer, a toaster oven to prepare breakfast and snacks, a Chemex coffee maker, ground local coffee, an electric tea kettle, assortment of teas, dishes, cups, wine glasses, cutting boards and utensils. Enjoy the record player and listen to a curated selection of records. You can also connect your phone via bluetooth and use it as a speaker. Book the wood-fired hot tub experience available to guests as an add-on. Enjoy nature in a very intentional, unique way while soaking in a hot, cedar-lined wood-fired tub, surrounded by it. Star gaze, listen to the brook and the sounds of the crackling fire and just RELAX. The tub fits two adults very comfortably. The experience can be booked for $75/day and we'll prepare it for you – it takes 2-3 hours to prepare it. Please note, the hot tub must be confirmed for your booking a few days before arrival so we can plan accordingly. Enjoy it as many times as you like for the day or book it for your whole stay! You're guaranteed to feel great afterwards! During winter months, borrow some snow shoes, we got a few pairs and explore our mountain and trail. It’s beautiful and a fun winter workout. Plus, we’re 18 mins from Catamount for skiing/snowboarding, a great ski resort! Easy parking is located right outside your door with enough space for up to 2 cars. The driveway is paved, and we are 1 mile up a well maintained dirt road from route 22. We’re happy to answer any questions and assist on site with building a fire pit or lending a pair of snow shoes for our trails. Moonbeams, our property and Creative Destination is located on an extremely quiet and picturesque gravel road, surrounded by state forest. 38 acres of exploration right outside your door on our property alone. Less than 15 minutes to unique art experiences, culture & shopping in Chatham & West Stockbridge. 18 min. to Great Barrington & 25 min. to Hudson. If you'd like to explore more of the surrounding area, we recommend having a car. Although, if you plan ahead and desire a more secluded retreat, a cars is not required.
