Welcome to Castle Rock! Replace the sights and sounds of traffic and the suburban shuffle glamping on the Toutle River in our renovated Trailer. You will have acres to explore, riverfront, and multiple fire pits! Relax with the songs of frogs, birds, crickets, and enjoy the deer, eagles, ducks, geese, rabbits, beavers and otters that pass through now and then. The space 1976 36ft Concord trailer that has been gutted and redone inside. We think its super cute and love the trailer..... but If you are OVER 6'1 you will not be happy! Ceilings are very LOW! It is also very small, so spending time outside is a must. One side of the trailer has a queen memory foam bed (a bit high ) 32 inch TV. Living room with a 40inch TV. Kitchen has two burner gas stove, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker etc...everything needed to cook small meals. There is no oven, but there is a small toaster oven. If you need to do laundry for longer stays, we do have an extra set in our shop area. We are very remote! ( which we love ) so plan accordingly. 10 minutes from the nearest gas service/grocery store. Johnston Ridge observatory is 42 miles from the house, closed at this time. Riverdale Raceway is 5 miles away. Explore Mt St Helens, Coldwater Lake, forest learning center, Silverlake or just explore and enjoy the property! Guest access Plenty of parking and you are free to roam and enjoy all of the property/river. Other things to note Living out here is awesome, but it’s like camping! Lots of BUGS, flys, bees, mosquitos, birds ( including wood peckers that might wake you up ) if you are lucky our friendly cat. There is a pond and river so please be careful. River shoes or tennis shoes advised as the river bank is slippery with lots of rocks. It's 20 minutes to the nearest restaurant, 10 mins to Drew's grocery store in Toutle (it has hot food and is a full grocery store and gas station ) there is also a Red Leaf coffee stand. Cell service can be spotty. WiFi is provided but can be finicky at times during bad weather. Please inquire about firewood. We try and keep some available (for free) but we can't guarantee it will be available.
