An hour from Stockholm, you will find an oasis for relaxation, forest walks and excursions in beautiful surroundings. The house invites you to lazy days by the pool or jetty, cooking in the outdoor kitchen, long evenings in the outdoor lounge and maybe a game of Kubb or croquet in the lush garden? The house basks in sunlight from morning till night. Afternoon and evening sun on the balcony. The space The house has a high standard, including A/C, pool, outdoor kitchen, 2 outdoor showers (with hot water) and offers spacious social areas and a large private garden, as well as access to a shared jetty 200 meters away. The private pool is heated from (June-August). Private wood-fired sauna on site for free use. The kitchen is fully equipped with full fridge, full freezer, dishwasher, microwave, induction stove, oven, coffee maker, etc. The outdoor kitchen offers a large gas grill, sink with cold water and gas hob. The pool is heated from June through August. Outdoor shower with hot water is available next to the pool. The wood-fired sauna is available all year (wood included). An outdoor shower with hot water is available next to the sauna. The house is located by a lake. Nearby, there are vast forests and meadows for relaxing walks. Good supply of berries and mushrooms (depending on the season). Fishing permits can be purchased (contact the hosts). Guest access A short trip away is Strängnäs and beautiful Mariefred with Gripsholm Castle and steam train. The Lådbilslandet in Nykvarn and Sagostigen in Malmköping offer exciting experiences for younger children. 1 hour from Stockholm City. 1.5 hours from Stockholm-Arlanda Airport (ARN) 1 hour from Stockholm-Skavsta Airport (NYO) 1 hour from Stockholm-Västerås Airport (VST) Other things to note Only full weeks (Sunday to Sunday) Bed linens and towels can be rented for SEK 150/person and stay Car required Parking for 3 cars is available (two of which have a charging station) Canoe available to rent The hosts speak: - Swedish - English - German - Spanish - French - Norwegian - Danish The house is smoke-free. The house is cooled by free cooling through the floors as well as separate units in Bedroom 1 and in the living room. Under normal circumstances, it is no problem to keep the whole house cool, but in case of persistent heat waves, the temperature can rise slightly indoors during the day. The guest house (bedroom 4) has no air conditioning.
