Farmhouse Retreat in the Shuswap

Welcome to our charming 1925 farmhouse! The park like grounds are set amongst 3 acres of natural beauty. Perfect location and space for a family vacation or get together with friends. Easy access off Highway 1 and close to local wineries, hiking trails and the lake. Views of the surrounding pastures and hills complete the picture! Stop in to recharge your batteries and get away from it all at our peaceful retreat! The space The farmhouse can accommodate up to 10 people comfortably. It is decorated in tasteful rustic style with plenty of modern conveniences such as fast Wifi, TVs and a fully-equipped kitchen. There are 5 total bedrooms... Down a few steps off the main floor is the primary suite with a king size bed, en suite bathroom, desk, sitting area and television. On the 2nd floor, there are 3 bedrooms with queen beds and a full bathroom. Then up another flight of stairs is an additional attic bedroom with 2 twin beds -- accessed by a secret bookcase! Fluffy pillows, thick memory foam mattresses and fresh linens ensure a good night's sleep. On the main floor, guests have access to the full kitchen, living room, half bathroom and laundry room. Also enjoy the large wrap-around veranda with spectacular views from a variety of sitting areas, along with a propane firepit. Use the BBQ to grill out, play games on the lawn or just relax and enjoy the surroundings. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire farmhouse and grounds, no shared areas. Owners (or representative) occupy the guest house/studio on one side of the property. Other things to note We have a "farm cat" who wanders the grounds. If any member of your group has cat allergies or is very sensitive to cat dander (the cat likes to sleep on the outside furniture occasionally), please keep this in mind. We have Starlink Wifi internet, so even though we are in a rural setting, you can still stay connected -- or unplug as needed, of course!
