A light and spacious, well loved family home in the heart of Hathersage with views of Stanage Edge and Offerton Moor. 3 floors, sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms with two bathrooms and ample living space. Two lovely cats come and go through the cat flap and love cuddles. (Cats need feeding and watering daily by guests). Our home is great for adults and children who want to play, enjoy the outdoors or just relax. Please contact if you would like more flexibility around check -in / out days The space This is a well loved family home- clean, comfortable and welcoming for people who want to play, enjoy the outdoors or just relax. Property details: - Double bedroom and family bathroom in 2nd floor attic, children's bedroom with 2 beds on 1st floor (1 high sleeper bed and 1 child size single futon), and play room with double sofa bed and ensuite bathroom on ground floor. - Large kitchen / dining area with wood burning stove. The sustainably built kitchen has a double electric fan oven with gas hob. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment and has a slimline dishwasher. Guests are welcome to use basics from the cupboards like oil, herbs and condiments but please replace anything that is finished. A range of teas and coffee are available for guests to use, breakfast is not provided. - We sit on the floor to eat at a low dining table using mats, blocks and cushions for floor sitting. - Living room with large sofa, piano and TV- firestick. - There is a small garden to the rear of the property with a patio area, raised beds and a green house, and an allotment is within short walking distance. Fruit and /or veg may be available for guests to pick and eat depending on the time of year. Our cats are called Dagga and Milly - they come and go through a cat flap. They love cuddles! They will need feeding (dry cat food) and watering daily by guests. Please do not book if you are unwilling to do this. All bedding is provided, apart from guests should bring their own towels. Some space is made available in the bedrooms for guests to store belongings alongside the owners belongings. Eco friendly cleaning products are used in the property. There are many books, toys (lego, puzzles, games etc)and objects of art which guests are welcome to respectfully enjoy and explore but please leave them all and replace any damages. Local maps and guides for walking, climbing etc are available for guests to use during their stay. The property has WIFI and a tv license, there is one TV . A washing machine is in the ensuite bathroom on ground floor.
