Welcome to Phoenix Cottage

Our beautiful, new 2 bedrm home is within walking distance to shops & eateries. Our 60 sq m "cottage" is tastefully decorated with modern decor, is warm & inviting. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, cooktop, dishwasher & full size fridge. The bedrooms have plenty of hanging space & storage. The living area has an air con for the summer & winter. Bathroom has a bath & separate shower. A small amount of toiletries & kitchen essentials are provided until you can restock. The space Our beautiful, new 2 bedrm home is within walking distance to shops & eateries. Parkes has several clubs, tennis courts, a swimming pool & many other facilities. Places to visit include Henry Parkes Centre/Tourist Info, Memorial Hill Lookout, Peak Hill Open Cut Gold Mine Experience, Bushman's Hill (Parkes' first gold mine), The Dish, Dubbo Zoo & much more in surrounding country towns. The Elvis festival in January is one of the highlights of the year & with the new by-pass being built & Parkes becoming the central hub between east & west & north & south, it is only going to get bigger & better. Our guide on the airbnb website & in the Welcome book on the property, has many options for dining out & places to see & things to do. Guest access Private stand alone cottage on a quiet street. We are a green cottage with green fences & gates. If using google maps or Navman, sometimes No. 10 isn't recognized. Please put in no. 12 & we are next door. Guests have access to all spaces/rooms in the cottage & carport & private backyard. The only exceptions are the locked cupboards in kitchen & bedrooms that we store toiletries & linen for cleaners. There is also no access to outside locked shed. Other things to note Just to mention . . . The nightly rate is for 2 guests, any extra guests are $20 per person per night. I don't think it is fair for 2 guests to pay the same as for 4 or a family. We also need to know how many people are at the property for safety reasons, in case there is an emergency, we need to account for the amount of guests. Also, if the hot water is not hot due to cold or inclement weather, please check the inside fuse box, and flick the booster to "ON" for Hot water. Please turn off when you leave. Please contact us if something isn't working or a breakage as soon as possible, so we can sort it quickly for you & also for the next guests.
