Casa Flor de Lis is a beautiful one-bedroom house located in a quiet area of Merida Centro’s Santiago neighborhood, just a few blocks from charming Santiago Park. Combining modern amenities and a colonial vibe, Casa Flor de Lis is your elegant home away from home. The recently remodeled property features bright, airy rooms, high ceilings and mamposteria walls. Located on a quiet street with no city bus traffic, the house is a pleasant stroll away from Merida’s main attractions. The space The main floor features a fully equipped kitchen, living room with 20-foot ceilings and a half bath. The polished concrete floor with its pasta tiles offers a clean and fresh look throughout. The master bedroom is located on the second floor and features an ensuite bathroom, comfortable queen-size bed, A/C, and large windows for admiring your spectacular private tropical backyard. The stunning outdoor space features luscious gardens, a large pool, outdoor shower and a covered outdoor living area, allowing you to enjoy the outdoors day and night, no matter the weather. The property comfortably accommodates two adults but can also accommodate up to two additional guests on the living room sofa bed. EVERYTHING HAS BEEN THOUGHT OF FOR YOUR COMFORT AND PEACE OF MIND The property is fully equipped. We provide you with all kitchen equipment and appliances including electric stove and oven, fridge, pots and pans, utensils, coffee maker and toaster… everything you need to fuel up for your busy – or relaxed – day! To ensure a comfortable start to your stay, a starter pack containing a small quantity of toilet paper and soap/shampoo will be provided. For your convenience, we recommend bringing any additional personal care and hygiene items you may prefer. Relax and enjoy some entertainment on the new smart TV. High speed Wi-Fi throughout the entire property means you’ll be able to work on your laptop or watch your favourite Netflix program. Guest access The property has ample street parking as well as convenient access to taxis. Uber is also widely available and very affordable. However, grocery stores, restaurants, cafes and convenience stores are all within pleasant, scenic walking distances, so a car generally isn’t required. You will have exclusive private access to the entire property. Our property manager speaks both English and Spanish and is available 24/7 should you need anything. We can also be reached by phone and email. We speak English et nous parlons aussi français! Other things to note HOUSE RULES We’ve tried to make Casa Flor de Lis an extra special, comfortable and enjoyable space for your stay in Merida. Please treat our home with the same respect as you would your own. Check-in after 3pm. Check-out by 11am. We are pleased to accommodate early check-ins depending on availability. Smoking is prohibited inside the house. Pets are not allowed. Guests are responsible for payment of electricity consumption during their stay, charged at the local rate. The meter will be read by our property manager upon your arrival and at check-out, to ensure that only your personal usage is considered. As a reference, you can expect an average of $15-20 USD per week for electricity consumption, which includes usage of the A/C at night.
