Time to rejuvenate in a peaceful garden setting.

Make this your "get-away/retreat" in a quiet, small town with numerous gardens to enjoy on our hilly, heavily wooded acre. This is is a "Room in a House" not a private suite. You'll be sharing other spaces such as kitchen, bathroom, living room, etc. with hosts. There is no "private" entrance. 3 night maximum stay (exceptions possible?). Cook in our fully equipped kitchen, use the outdoor gas grill or walk/drive less than a mile to several cafes, coffee shops, grocery store deli. The space If you're looking for a peaceful retreat yet conveniently located in a small valley town (pop 7000) this is the place. We have a large parking area reserved for guests. In cooler weather we have a wood burning stove and often have outdoor bonfires. Our deck and pergola provide peace and privacy. Our living room windows provide great sunset views and of course you can wander our acre of gardens to enjoy nature--trees, plants, birds, butterflys etc. Guest access Entire home (except 2 offices and master bedroom) and gardens. We have a dedicated off-street parking lot just north of our home. During your stay We'll be around in the morning but likely gone much of the day and back home in the late afternoon. We can answer questions by cell or text when not present. BTW, we offer morning coffee; a great restaurant (the Feedmill) is within walking distance. They have a wide variety menu for breakfast and lunch. There are several other eateries within walking distance. Other things to note Smoking is only allowed outdoors. You are free to wander in the gardens or rest on one of our shady benches or on the deck. If the weather is cool enough we can have a bon fire behind the garden shed.
