Our Coleman Road farm may look like a quaint older house from the outside, but inside you'll find a stylishly-updated modern farmhouse you'll be excited to spend time in. The rooms are filled with afternoon sunlight, and have been tastefully decorated to provide a tranquil and comfortable retreat. With a spacious living room, two bedrooms, a full bath, and separate kitchen and dining area, the space offers everything you need in a cozy and modern setting. The space is located behind a secure gate, up a gravel drive. Access to the house is through the "back" of the house, which faces east toward the main farm. From the door, the surrounding area east, you can look out over a lush open hill in which you'll find wild blackberry bushes ( have thorns) and Catalpa trees leading to a crop field, and a view of our working barn. You may explore the brush hogged hillside but please not into or beyond the cultivated area. Please keep in mind, while exciting, this is a wild & natural habitat, and to use caution especially with pets. (Steer clear of the long thorned Honey Locust trees & groves that can be found there). So, there is plenty of room for you and your dogs to run and explore on the property. Finally, be aware the yard is not fenced and the landscape may be uneven so care should be taken on this homestead. Please survey the area as you go. Along the road, cars can travel at high speeds in front of the house. We ask that you do not leave pets outside unattended at any time, for their safety. The property also includes several other structures including a garage and barn, which are not available to guests. You will be able to access the main floor of the house, including bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. There is no basement access. Please respect any locked doors in the house, as those spaces are off-limits. The area is best explored by car PET POLICY: We are happy to welcome your furry friends for a quiet vacation or a heated competition! We allow up to two, well-behaved, house-broken dogs without a fee. There is a pet fee of $20 per dog after the first two, for the length of your stay. If you have more than four dogs, please contact us to discuss your specific needs. At this time we can accommodate a maximum of ~6 crated dogs, but it is tight, and we would like to better understand your specific situation to help you decide if our property is right for your needs. You must clean up after your dogs -- do not leave any pet waste in the yard. Please alert us of any pet accidents in the house so that we may address them promptly!
