This is an Adults Only location. Enjoy waking up in a lakeside Minnesota cottage, right on the water. Sunrise + sunset views, this is a nature oasis. Daily loon calls, feel the breeze off the lake. Find yourself amongst wildlife in a quaint cabin. This is a remote getaway, close to the cities. Activities include paddle boarding , enjoying a local concert or sporting event.... complimentary water toys available. Shower outside, under the stars! Everything you need, nothing you don't. The space The cozy two-level cottage is all yours. The bedroom is upstairs with a comfortable queen bed & expansive view in all directions. Memorable, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. The lower level has a full fridge & freezer, a 50" TV, fireplace, and additional spots to relax. There is a pull-out sofa couch on the main level that is a cozier sleep for two. Since we are so close to the lake, plumbing is unique + limited. The restroom facilities are outside in a standalone outhouse -- clean and kept nice for you. There is running water and portable A/C. Welcome up-north! Incredible views, fantastic nature, lake living at it's best. The overhang area has seating to dine outside and a floating bed. The sunset deck has a private charcoal grill for your use. There is a double hot plate, microwave, and toaster oven as well. Your own private & clean outhouse is a few steps outside the north door. A six-minute walk away is a multi-million dollar complex with more deluxe accommodations, should you need them [gym, shower, yoga class, hot tub, pool, spa] about $11-13 daily rate per person. Guest access This is a stand-alone cottage unit. The large yard is a shared space, as is the outdoor areas (the spaces unique to the Lake Cottage are yours : the overhang with floating bed + sunset deck with grill). Our parking area will have other cars, but we will make sure you know where to park. It is free, off-street parking in a safe, comfortable spot. Definitely lock your car and keep your valuables out of it. Other things to note We operated a portrait studio for 30 years in this location and landscaped to facilitate beautiful images. Approximately 20 minute drive from the airport to our location... once you're here, it is a private lake oasis. The sliding doors on the East side are a little heavy, please use a wee bit of muscle. The fireplace has a remote with a thermostat built-in, it is your solution for inside comfort in the cooler months + winter. We have fans for additional options. There is a portable A/C unit for the cottage. We have two other listings: Lake Studio and Lake Loft. You may see other guests during your stay but there are 16 socially distanced outdoor spaces to enjoy relaxation and privacy during your stay. We aim to keep this experience Adults Only, thank you.
