Ponte s Ana, Wohnung am Eingang zur Biennale

Description

Welcome to Venice! Far away from mass tourism, surrounded by locals, in the green Castello/Biennale district, you can experience Venice from a different perspective. The district offers countless excellent restaurants, bars, and cafés. In just two stops, you can take the vaporetto to the beach at Lido, and after only one stop, you will reach St. Mark's Square. Please also take a look at our second apartment, which is just around the corner. airbnb.at/h/ponte-nuovo The space The accommodation is located on the ground floor and has a private entrance directly from the alley – right by the water at Ponte S. Ana. The apartment measures approximately 56 m² and is suitable for 2 guests. It features a bedroom with a box-spring bed (160 × 200 cm) and an en-suite bathroom with a WC. The living room is furnished with a box-spring daybed (140 × 200 cm). Next to the kitchen, there is a small, locked room. It contains essential technical equipment for the apartment, such as the gas boiler, and is also used for storing cleaning supplies. This room also includes a shower, a washbasin and a WC. However, the room remains closed and is not accessible to guests. Guest access The apartment is located on the ground floor and offers convenient, direct access from the alley, with no stairs or shared entrance areas. This makes the accommodation particularly easy to reach – ideal for guests with luggage or anyone who prefers a straightforward, hassle-free entry. As soon as you open the door, you step into a private, self-contained area that is exclusively for the use of guests staying in this apartment. Its ground-floor location provides a comfortable and homely feel, while also placing you right in the heart of everyday Venetian life: you enter the apartment directly from a quiet, typically Venetian alley, just a short distance from the water, small cafés and charming historic buildings. Other things to note Shortly before your arrival, our friendly local contact Giorgia will get in touch with you via WhatsAp. Please make sure we have a working mobile number so she can reach you. Giorgia will discuss the following with you in advance: How will you be arriving? If you are flying: Which airport will you land at? What time will you arrive in Venice? This will allow her to arrange a suitable meeting point and an exact check-in time with you. For the check-in, every guest must present a valid ID. Unfortunately, we cannot carry out a check-in without it. Giorgia will also collect the legally required tourist tax on site – cash only, in Euros. The current rates are: Children up to 10 years old and guests with disabilities are exempt Children aged 10 to 16: €2 per night Guests aged 16 and above: €4 per night, for a maximum of 5 nights. After the fifth night, no further charges apply. If your stay falls within a period when an entrance fee for Venice would normally apply, your entry is free of charge. Giorgia will ensure you receive the required QR code in time. Check-in times and costs: 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. no additional costs 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. €30 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. €50 If you need storage space: 1. Via Garibaldi, 1514, 30122 Venice VE, Italy Open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. 2. Calle de le Ancore, 1048, 30122 Venice VE, Italy Open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. We are not responsible for this information! If you are staying during the cold months (November, December, January, February), we recommend bringing slippers or thick socks. Underfloor heating is not technically feasible in ground-floor apartments in Venice. Due to regular flooding, the floor structures are affected by salt water, which means that such an installation would not function reliably. As a result, the stone floor naturally remains colder, which is common in historic buildings in Venice. In addition, living right by the water generally feels a little cooler in winter. Nevertheless, as confirmed by the vast majority of our guests, our apartment is well heated, which is by no means a given in Venice and in Italy in general. An additional radiant heater can be provided if required. Registration Details IT027042C2LOLEDH9N
