Sunrise Over Salvo--Cape Hatteras Lighthouse Room

The Cape Hatteras Lighthouse Room: Thanks to John's obsession with this iconic structure (an easy half hour drive away), this room showcases the best historic photography he's found of America's most famous lighthouse. Come learn about this beautiful Victorian aid to navigation. The room has a queen bed and private bathroom with tub and shower. Take a wine glass through the patio door onto the porch that runs across the back of the house for views of the sunset over the sound. NO PETS PLEASE!! The space We are just a 5 minute walk from the beautiful beach! Newly carpeted, attractively decorated "theme" rooms with private ("en suite") bathrooms. An elevator brings you and your gear to your room, and just outside, a hot tub and swimming pool beckon you to come on in! Lighthouses, a historic lifesaving station, water sports galore, casual coastal dining, and speciality shopping are just a few miles down the road. Come relax, recharge, and enjoy our private haven: Sunrise Over Salvo! NO PETS PLEASE!! Please also note that we have two other rooms that we rent out on Airbnb (the Egyptian Room and the Bruce and Cheryl Roberts Suite), so it is possible that you may be sharing the common area on the second floor and the large first floor with other guests....there's plenty of room to spread out! Guest access You'll have access to our pool (in season), hot tub, full size refrigerator, mini-fridge, two microwave ovens, and pool table. During your stay Although we love to meet new people (and John can talk endlessly about the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse), we will interact with you as little or as much as you'd like. We are constantly working on various projects, but we're always willing to take a break. If you need privacy and solitude, we will respect your wishes. Other things to note We bought this house in the fall of 2017 with the idea of setting up these rooms as AirBnb, so we have tried to set them up with YOU in mind as much as possible. These are not accommodations that have been quickly thrown together; we want you to have a quality experience, and to encourage your friends and family to share Sunrise Over Salvo with us!
