You can walk or drive to Historic Route 66, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, churches, and parks/playgrounds/trails. Plan to drive 10-20 minutes, Uber or use public transit to seek St. Louis' night life or all the wonderful attractions that St. Louis has to offer. My home is a 10-20 min. drive to anywhere in St. Louis City or County. Travel from: St. Louis Lambert International Airport - 15 mi/23 min; Downtown St. Louis - 9 mi/15 min; Downtown Clayton - 7 mi/15 min; Forest Park/St. Louis Zoo - 3.9 mi/11 min. MetroBus, MetroLink and Call-A-Ride provide public transportation. The MetroLink Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 Transit Station is a 1.1 mi/6 min drive from my home. MetroLink will get you within walking distance to many St. Louis attractions. I live upstairs so you will hear activity as well as all the usual city noises - dogs barking, people talking, workmen working and traffic. The suite has a cook-in KITCHENETTE with a countertop convection/bake/broil oven, a dual countertop burner, microwave, electric skillet, crock pot, mini waffle maker, toaster and coffee maker as well as cooking/baking/dining dishes and utensils to prepare and enjoy your favorite meals. There is no closet; but, rather a portable clothing rack and hangers, wall mounted hanging racks, plus shelf, basket and drawer storage. The HVAC is controlled by the home thermostat. You can control your comfort with 3 adjustable vents and 2 windows for ventilation, as well as an oscillating fan. Or, contact me at anytime to adjust the thermostat. NO unregistered guests or visitors are permitted unless pre-approved with me. Low volume (TV, music, talking) is required at midnight. NO candle burning.
