An attic room (see pics) up a narrow stairway. Old-growth Douglas fir flooring and pine paneling, full-size bed, table, 2 chairs and dresser, small refrigerator. Bath with small shower is shared with guests in east bedroom. Small radiator-style heater for additional heat. Guests have access to large kitchen and living room, TV with cable, Amazon Prime, Netflix, and laundry facilities, all shared with us, the owners. All cotton sheets, wool blankets and down pillows. Breakfast foods available. The space This is an older home, some part of which has been on the site for over a hundred years; a block above the old ferry site from before the McCullough Bridge was built. Less than a mile off the Pacific Coast Highway 101. Guest access Guests share a bath with any guests staying in the east bedroom. Living room with pellet stove and large kitchen are available for sharing with owners. Laundry facilities available. During your stay If we are home, we love to socialize with any guests who want to connect. We also welcome those who wish to be left alone. About twice a month, we are absent for doctor/dentist appointments in Portland. But we are always available via text. Other things to note This is our home and we are more than happy to share it. We love the opportunity to meet new people and we've discovered that every guest has an interesting story to tell. We've had non-English speakers where we spend hours using Google translator to communicate, and we love it! I don't advertise it, but if we are home, I will be pleased to offer you a yummy breakfast!
