This tranquil bo-ho chic Southern California beachfront home was professionally designed to transport you to the tropical beaches in Tulum. From sand to sky, you'll have 4 levels of this resort-styled home to soak in the breathtaking multicolored sunsets. We guarantee at the end of your stay you’ll understand why this town was named Sunset Beach! The space The Sands is located on Sunset Beach, nestled between Huntington Beach and Seal Beach. Your much needed vacation at this 4 level home starts right on the beach with endless amenities on the first floor: - Sliding glass doors that lead out to your own private beachfront deck with natural gas fire pit, a natural gas grill and all the lounge seating you’ll need to dine alfresco or relax and soak in the sun or stars! - 1 bedroom and 1 full bathroom, complete with high-end Toto bidet - Kitchenette w/ bar seating for 5 - Family and dining room with a beautiful seashell encased gas fireplace - Sonos soundsystem (provided throughout the entire home and connected via bluetooth) - 2 Beautiful outdoor showers to wash away your sandy day on the beach - Laundry area that leads to an oversized 3 car garage. - Bodyboards and designer beach bikes available for you to enjoy during your stay as well as fun beach games and board games for the entire family. - This level is perfect for guests that want their own complete private space without the need to climb any stairs On the 2nd story, you’ll be taken away by breathtaking views. The 2nd level living area, which is the heart of the home, comes complete with: - Panoramic windows that showcase the gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean into the space. Open the windows to hear the sounds of the crashing waves and on a clear day you can see as far as Catalina Island. - Large half bathroom with double vanity and high-end Toto bidet. - A beautiful tiled gas fireplace to enjoy on those cool moonlight nights. - A private balcony overlooking the beach, complete with a bar top counter. Perfect for enjoying your breakfast while watching the early morning surfers catch some waves. - A fully equipped kitchen with all the cooking and baking essentials you'll need to create your most delicious meals. On the 3rd level you’ll discover: - A beautiful bedroom with two single beds and a separate full bath. Perfect for the kids. - A Primary Suite with magical views of the ocean through panoramic windows with motorized blackout blinds.. although you'll never want to use them! With a full bathroom, double vanity and large walk-in closet, the Primary Suite also includes a free standing bathtub where you can soak in the best views and relax after a long day in the sun. There is also a private outdoor sitting deck as well as an indoor seating area and reading nook so you can completely immerse yourself into an eternal vacation bliss. You really need too see this Master Suite in person to truly appreciate it..it will take your breath away! On your final flight of stairs up to the 4th level, you’ll find the impressive rooftop deck complete with chaise lounges and a large sectional. Be prepared to get a front row seat to the most magical sun kissed views of the Pacific as there are no bad views in sight. You'll be stunned by the 360 degree views: Looking North, you'll enjoy the hillsides of San Pedro and the skyline of Downtown Long Beach. Turn to the West and, if you are lucky, you can catch dolphins as they playfully swim along the shore...on a clear day Catalina Island provides a surreal backdrop for your sunset selfies. Turning South, you can see the iconic Huntington Beach pier..and to the East you will get glimpses of Huntington Harbor and beyond to the San Gabriel Mountains. You'll definitely want to venture up to the rooftop at dusk to snap some Insta-worthy sunset pics. Hope to see you relaxing at The Sands soon! Guest access There is plenty of parking in our oversized 3 car garage. There is also free parking along the street. *This home is a completely independent unit, but there is a monthly rental above the garage. That unit is conveniently separated by an internal, locked stairwell. Neither guests have access to this stairwell. It is locked on both sides, internally. It creates a nice sound barrier/buffer between the two units with no shared walls vs a traditional attached duplex. *The other unit is a 2 bedroom one bath apartment above the garage. Each has a separate front door entrance. It is a monthly rental under the listing on Airbnb as "The Jungalow". Both can be rented together, but due to city regulations, The Jungalow must be a 30+ day rental. To maintain privacy for our guests at The Sands, guests in The Jungalow do not have access to the beachfront unit, the rooftop deck, the beachfront deck or the garage.
