The flat is located in a flourishing neighbourhood at the south-east foot of Montmartre hill, very close to transports and a short and pleasant walking distance from Montmartre's tourist destinations all while being away from the bustle. Ideal for a solo traveller or a couple, you will have a separated bedroom with a double bed with a quiet courtyard view. Metro line 4 Chateau Rouge is 5 mins walk from the apartment. * Please see Other details * The space This is the flat where I live while I am in Paris, restyled for my guests. It is on the second floor of a nice early 20th century building, on the second floor without elevator. It has an open space kitchen, fully equipped, with a bar for an easy lunch à deux, and connected to a spacious living room overlooking Rue de Clignancourt. There are plenty of spots to relax and even a projector if you fancy watching a film at home! You will have an oven, washing machine, hob and coffee machine. The bathroom is small but functional and has an extra large shower. It has a small window which I recommend opening to avoid humidity. The bedroom has a window on the quiet inner court of the building and a selection of books in various languages which you're welcome to browse! The living room is large and you can enjoy the video projector should you wish to watch a movie or a series. I have a collection of music album if you are a music lover ! * please note * I just added a keyboard and some shelves in the living room, so the wall in front of the couch may look a little busier than in the pictures. :) Guest access You will have access to everything. Other things to note At the moment of writing, a clogged draining pipe in the inner court of the building is causing minor leaking on the external façade, slightly affecting the bathroom. The problem should be fixed before the end of February 2024. The bed is on the hard side of the spectrum - I like it like that, but be advised! Current pillows are very soft, but there are medium and hard pillows in the closet if you prefer. All the windows have double glazing, so noise from the outside is never going to be a problem. The heater is new and comes with a programmable thermostat. City Tax may be applicable for this property. This tax is not included in the booking price and will be collected directly from you before the check-in.
