Shepherd’s Rest, A Mid Wales Country Retreat!

If you are looking for a secluded and peaceful getaway in a luxurious and well equipped cottage then Shepherd’s Rest is the place to be! Set in the beautiful Mid Wales countryside, this refurbished barn conversion hosts plenty of charm and character. The remote location boasts fantastic hillside views with plenty of walks and nature exploring right on your doorstep! Be sure to unwind in the wood-fired hot tub and enjoy stargazing on a clear night! The space Entire place to yourselves! Shepherd’s Rest is a barn conversion that has been renovated to a high standard. It is an open plan layout that is full of character and original features. Through the main entrance you will enter an open plan kitchen, living and dining area with patio doors leading out onto the decking and garden area. There are a couple of steps leading up to the bedrooms, bathroom and utility. Shepherd’s Rest consists of two bedrooms: Bedroom 1- double bed Bedroom 2- trundle bed consisting of two single beds. The bathroom features a large shower, toilet and basin. The utility room includes a washing machine/dryer, freezer and essential household items e.g. iron, mop. The outdoor space has a large decking area and grass lawn. There is a seating area and a wood-fired hot tub overlooking magnificent views of the rolling hills. Guest access Sole access to the entire house and garden. Parking enough for 3 cars Other things to note *Extra logs for the wood burner and hot tub are kept in the log shed on the side of the house. *Hot tub- the hot tub is heated by a wood fire (wood only). All wood supplied. The water will be pre-filled in the hot tub (not heated). We use chlorine to keep the water fresh and sanitised- (please let us know if you would not like any chemicals in the water.) It will take 2-3 hours from lighting the wood burner to reach desired temperature (40 degrees C) ***We offer a pre-heating service for a charge of £50. Please contact us if you would to arrange this. *Fire guard available on request. *One bath towel and one smaller towel supplied per guest. Please bring your own towels for outdoor use with the hot tub. *Warning- Decking can be very slippery when wet!
