Welcome to our little Swedish spot in Småland. Our vacation home, which used to be part of a larger farm, is located a little off the end of a small country settlement called Kuttaboda. It is surrounded by forest and agriculture and despite its convenient location it is completely on its own and somewhat hidden behind many trees. You can relax, unwind and listen to the forest. Or do pretty crazy things, because – no one sees it. The space An original classic red and white Swedish house in old log cabin construction awaits you. We have preserved the old house as much as possible and equipped it with modern companions. With many old Swedish and some new furniture, we have made it as cozy and friendly as possible to allow relaxed vacations. In the kitchen you can still see the old wooden beams, which have now become the basis for a rustic counter. The new annex houses the bright bathroom and the kitchen extension overlooking the forest and gravel terrace from 2 very nice large lattice windows. 2 wood-burning stoves not only spread a pleasant warmth, but you can also cook or bake with one of them. Of course, the devices are adapted to current standards. There is a small pastel blue bedroom (pull-out bed 2 x 80 x 200) on the first floor and one in the rustic attic room (2 x 80 x 200). An additional bed (children's travel bed or folding guest bed) can also be added upstairs. The small staircase to the attic is a bit steeper, but equipped with slip protection and secure holding options, so it is not a problem. Guest access Our guests have access to all living spaces and the outdoor toilet at the edge of the forest. The shed is a warehouse for technical equipment and is mainly reserved for the landlord. In the front part, the garden furniture can be accommodated if it is not in the garden. The rear part, the wood storage, may be entered to fetch firewood. The underground cellar is also not included in the rental. Other things to note Wi-Fi is available, but not always completely reliable here in the countryside. It is sometimes a bit weather-dependent. With the smart TV on the upper floor, you can watch via the Internet and streaming services (guests' own accounts). A DVD player is also connected. Attention!!! Bed linen (sheets, pillow and duvet cover) is not included in the rental and must be brought along!!! INFO FOR DOG OWNERS The house and property are only suitable to a limited extent for the accommodation of dogs, so a detailed agreement is in everyone's interest. For example, there is a fairly steep staircase to the upper floor with overlapping steps, which is equipped for people with several holding options, so it is not a problem for them, but possibly for dogs. The property is located directly next to the forest, which is home to wild animals that can also access the property. The fence around is coarse-meshed and does not hold back small dogs. The driveway and a rear exit into the forest are not closed. This should be considered in advance when staying with a dog.
RESTRICTED PERIOD Booking with dogs can only be offered in the low season. During the high season (June, July, August), the change of tenants is often very short, but the house is more difficult to clean due to the animal hair. We can only guarantee the necessary thoroughness for subsequent guests in the off-season through longer booking intervals.
